Most of a pasture is underground.

puts more of itself under the ground than above it, and that root mass

is what holds water through a dry July, feeds the soil life, and builds

organic matter season after season. The whole argument for grazing this

to finish on grass rather than grain.

This is the heavy one — Comfort Colors 1717, 6.1 oz of garment-dyed

ring-spun cotton, cut relaxed. Garment dyeing is why the colour looks

lived-in from the first wear instead of the fiftieth. It ages like

something you've had for years rather than something that arrived last

week.

Built to be worn rather than saved. Double-needle stitching throughout,

and no side seams, so it holds its shape through a season of work and

washing. Pre-shrunk US cotton — what arrives is what it stays.

Relaxed fit, roomier than a standard tee. Size down if you want it

closer to the body. Sewn-in label.

Garment-dyed, so slight colour variation between shirts is normal.

That's the process, not a flaw.

Wash cold, inside out, hang to dry.
